Memberships
Current Members
Just a reminder that is time to renew your membership for 2022. We now have an online option for renewing, instead of filling out a new application. This is for those who are continuing their membership from 2021. If you were not a member last year, we ask that you fill out a new application so we can have a current signature on file.
In order to renew, please visit the current member’s section of our membership page on our website. You can also use the button below. It will only take a moment of your time, especially if none of your information has changed. Also, don’t forget to pay your dues!
Not a member yet?
It’s never too late to join! You can sign up at any time. Check out our website to learn more about what it means to be a member. If you have any questions feel free to reach out to us. If you’re ready now, use the button below or visit our membership page to sign up.
Winter Field Day
Winter Field Day is fast approaching, as it is the last weekend of this month. If you are making plans to attend, please make note of the information below and make sure to RSVP. We will need to know how many to expect for parking arrangements and especially if you plan on joining us for food! All are welcome to attend and have fun. You can RSVP via the button below, or contact one of us.
Where?
Kimball Bend Park
12169 TX-174, Kopperl, TX 76652
We were unable to reserve a group site, but the main club site will be site #9. Many members are camping in the neighboring sites so we will have extra parking. If you are visiting during the day, you will need to let them know that you are visiting our club.
Technically this is a camping-only park, so there is no day-use fee, but each site has a limit to the number of vehicles it can have. We have several sites reserved via members, so we should have enough but we ask that you RSVP so we can make those arrangements. You might even carpool if you have the ability to!
When?
Winter Field Day is from 1900 UTC (1:00 pm CST) Saturday, January 29th through 1900 UTC (1:00 pm CST) Sunday, January 30th.
If you aren’t camping for the weekend, you are welcome to come to visit Saturday and Sunday. The event does run overnight, so you are welcome to make arrangements with someone if you would like to operate then. Feel free to come early and stay late!
Just remember, the inbound gates to the park open at 6:00 am and close at 10:00 pm.
What?
We plan on having one or two stations available for operations. You are welcome to bring your own gear to test out or provide suggestions for what you would like to see or do during the event. We will also have a gathering area set up for fellowship and food. We plan on having the usual hot dogs, burgers, etc available and a pancake breakfast on Sunday.
Please don’t forget to RSVP if you plan on joining us so we can make sure to have enough parking and food for everyone!
We hope to see you there!
Thank you everyone for being a part of the JCARC.
73s, and have a wonderful day!
